The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village is now closed to the general public for the season. We remain open for advance school bookings only. We will re-open to the public on May 16, 2020.
Celebration of Spring
More than 300 Ukrainian dancers of all ages from across Alberta will perform live on stage during our season's opening weekend.
- Historical Village Activities: horse-drawn wagon rides, field work and seeding, garden seeding, old-fashioned laundry, school lessons, Morse Telegraphers—send a telegram from the Bellis CN Railway Station
- Children’s Activities: face painting, arts, and crafts
- Feature Exhibit: Peter Shostak exhibit
- Village Market: featuring locally produced crafts and foods
- Exhibitor Showcase: local community organizations share information about their association or group
- 50/50 Draw: try your luck and purchase 50/50 tickets - proceeds support the Friends of the Ukrainian Village Society
- Musical Entertainment: enjoy music performed by local musicians on our Courtyard Stage
- Gift Shop
- Food Services onsite: pancake breakfast, Summer Kitchen, food court, Sweets n’ Treats
Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair for seating.
Regular site admission applies on event days.
