Group Tours

Led by a costumed tour guide, guided tours let groups learn about the history and culture of Ukrainian settlers in east central Alberta.

Introductory Group Tour

These begin at our Visitor Centre and will provide background information on our living history museum and the history and culture that we present. Groups will be introduced to the first-person style of interpretation and will be able to continue their visit to the museum after their time with the tour guide ends.

Ages: 7 years and older

Duration: 1 hour, beginning any hour from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Group size: 15 or more participants

Cost: Included with paid admission (group discount may apply; restrictions in effect)

Guided Specialty Group Tours

Guided specialty tours provide an in-depth exploration of various themes and topics related to our living history museum. Your group can arrange for a specialty tour covering topics such as farming, churches and religion, architecture, behind-the-scenes activities, and more. Contact us for more details about a specialty tour tailored to the needs of your group!

Ages: 7 years and older

Duration: 2 hours

Group size: 15 or more participants

Cost (includes admission):

  • Youth (7-17): $11
  • Adults and Seniors (18 years and older): $16

Special Mobility-Impaired Driving Tours

Groups with individuals with mobility impairment can relive the "good old days" as we showcase east central Alberta from 1892 to 1930. Our award-winning mobility-impaired tour program provides improved access to the site. Groups bring their own bus and drive through our historic areas with one of our costumed guides on board as they tour the museum. Participants remain on board while our staff bring the museum experience to them!

Groups will have the choice of touring from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. followed by lunch, or arrive for lunch followed by a tour from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Dates available: Tuesdays in July, Wednesdays in August

Ages: Adults and seniors with reduced mobility

Duration: 90 minute tour plus lunch


  • Seniors (65 years and older): $13
  • Adults (up to 65 years of age): $15
  • Support workers and bus drivers are admitted free
  • Regular group discount rates apply to bookings made for this program only
