Celebration of Dance 2023

Take in one of Alberta's largest Ukrainian dance extravaganzas featuring numerous dance groups of all ages from across Alberta.

12:15 p.m. Celebration of Dance concert start

We are proud to welcome the following dance groups who will be performing on our band shell stage starting at 12:15 p.m. (groups are listed in alphabetical order):

Meanwhile, in the historical village, families can step back in time and visit with costumed interpreters. Explore historic buildings and celebrate spring on the farm with a full day of authentic activities.

Enjoy delicious traditional Ukrainian food prepared by the Friends of the Ukrainian Village Society, and explore our feature exhibit - Make, Mend and Modify: Ukrainian Adapting in Alberta. Co-presented with Lamont County, this exhibit explores the concept of making do and using what was available to meet a family’s needs.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair for seating.
