What We're Looking For

The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village is looking for artifacts that pre-date 1940 to furnish our collection of historic buildings. Artifacts are carefully selected to furnish the historic buildings so they look the same as they did in the past. Some of the furnishings are original to the buildings while others are chosen to represent these original furnishings.

Some examples of artifacts needed include:

  • Cookware
  • Dishes
  • Cook stoves
  • Furniture
  • School books
  • School artifacts
  • Packaging
  • Other artifacts

While many items are needed, we are not able to accept everything. If you have an item that you think will help us furnish the historic buildings, let us know and we will tell you if it meets the specific furnishing requirements. Even items in poor condition, if rare, may provide valuable information to help us furnish the buildings accurately. In some instances, objects are borrowed so they can be documented and reproduced.

Potential Donors

If you have artifacts we may be interested, please contact our curator to discuss the criteria for donating artifacts into the collection. It is recommended that you email photos of your items, along with as much information as you have about the items.

Tax receipts are provided for donated items.
