Harvest of the Past

Celebrate Alberta's agricultural history with an old-fashioned fall harvest at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village. Witness threshing demonstrations and other harvest activities in the historical village and chat with costumed interpreters to learn about the traditional fall harvest in east central Alberta.

Step in the world of skilled farriers and their craft with our horseshoeing and farrier demonstrations.

Experience an old-fashioned threshing bee, chat with interpreters and explore the threshing machine.

Note, this is the final day that the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village is open for the 2024 summer season. The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village is located 25 minutes east of Edmonton along Highway 16.

Regular site admission applies on event days.

For the safety of all visitors, as well as our livestock in the historical village, we ask that you leave your pets at home.
