Vintage Day Show and Shine

View over 150 vintage cars, motorcycles, and tractors while enjoying the beautiful backdrop of our open-air museum.

Get ready for an unforgettable car show on Sunday, June 23 at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village! Drive back in time to see a dazzling display of classic cars, trucks, motorcycle and tractors amidst the picturesque backdrop of our open-air museum.

The vintage vibe of this special event is complemented by the boundless energy of Swing Out Edmonton, and the timeless music from the Edmonton Ukulele Circle and more! Entertainment will start at 12 p.m. behind the Silska Domiwka (Red Barn).

  • 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. - Edmonton Ukulele Circle
  • 1-2 p.m. - Swing Out Edmonton
  • 2-3 p.m. - Musical entertainment by George Paleniuk
  • 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. - children's activities

But that's not all! While you're here, step back in time in our historical village. Meet costumed interpreters, explore historic buildings, and celebrate spring on the farm with authentic activities for the whole family.

And of course, no celebration is complete without delicious traditional Ukrainian food prepared by the Friends of the Ukrainian Village Society!

And speaking of food, who loves a fresh pie? Reminiscent of an old-fashioned box social, stay in the afternoon for a special pie auction at 3 p.m. with auctioneer Dale Menzak, in support of the Friends of the Ukrainian Village Society and their 40th anniversary celebrations. A special thanks to Fifendekel for their generous donation to the Friends of the Ukrainian Village Society to support this fundraiser.

  • 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit bar and coffee available to buy
  • 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Ice cream at Sweets and Treats
  • 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Ukrainian food available to buy inside the Silska Domiwka/Red Barn.

We wish to extend an invitation for you to display your vintage car, truck, motorcycle or tractor at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village for our "Vintage Day Show & Shine" on Sunday, June 23, 2024.

Pre-registration is now closed. Vintage car owners are still invited to attend. Please arrive between 9 and 10 a.m. to register onsite. 

Your vintage vehicle will be entered in our annual Vintage Day Show and Shine Awards!
