Vintage Day Show and Shine 2026

We are pleased to resume our annual "Vintage Day Show & Shine" event after being closed last season due to a fire. This year's event will take place on Sunday, June 28, 2026. 

Vintage car owners and collectors are invited to display their vintage car, truck, motorcycle or tractor on grass fields at our open-air museum. To register, fill in our online registration form.

Entertainment on the day includes the Edmonton Ukulele Circle and Swing-out Edmonton Dance Club!

Visitors can vote for their favourite Vintage Day Show and Shine Awards, including:

  • Best in Show 
  • Kid's Choice 
  • Favourite Motorcycle 
  • Favourite Tractor 

 

Schedule of Activities (subject to change due to weather)

10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Vintage Vehicle Show & Shine

  • Explore a display of vintage cars, motorcycles, and tractors in the main parking lot.
  • Please look and enjoy, but do not touch vehicles on display.
  • Vote for your favourite ride by picking up a ballot at the vehicle registration tent by the Red Barn. Awards and prizes will be announced at 4:00 p.m.

 

11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entertainment

  • Located east of the Silska Domiwka/Red Barn
    • Swing-Out Edmonton Dance Club (11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
    • Edmonton Ukulele Circle (12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.)
    • Swing-Out Edmonton Dance Club (12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.)

  • Don't miss the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the historical village today! Step inside the captivating historic buildings and chat with our costumed interpreters. They are eager to share the story of Ukrainian settlement in Alberta with you!
  • Free horse-drawn wagon rides (10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

  • Lunch Service begins at 11:00 a.m.
  • Ukrainian menu available inside. Western options available at the concession window on west side of exterior.
